If you've used Krita (It's free, so no reason not to) or Paintstorm Studio, you'll have noticed how much better they handle pen pressure. I was really only giving folk a heads up about the toolbar with this post, but now I am at it, I'd like to mention pen pressure. I use most of the Ruler, and a good few of the scripted, presets at some time or other, and I am sure I'll make better use of them now they are easier to find. I mainly use it for brush stroke smoothing and the Vanishing lines perspective preset, but today I was also using Loops to draw a coil, and Radial Lines to draw the converging lines in the radio valve on the left. So I hope this helps if you are a Lazy Nezumi user. Two sets of icons are available, and you can design and apply your own icons via an XML file Getting back on track, the toolbar is configurable by shape I suspect that would be completely unusable for all but the very young. Photoshop would just about be OK at 200% but the LNP toolbar works out to 3.5mm x 52mm (0.138" x 2.06"). A poster was asking about a 15" Alienware laptop with a 4K screen in a recent thread. I'm thinking that is going to be a real problem on a very high resolution screen. The UI has the same font size as the main LNP panel, and I don't know any way to change it. The toolbar floats on top the same as the main LNP panel, but it is a bugger to pick up and move, and I still have not got that off pat. It turns out that a toolbar was added at the end of May this year and can be turned on from the File menu. You can add shortcuts for your favourite presets, at least one of which Guillaume fixed specifically for me (he is incredibly helpful) but with more than 40 presets, all of which are configurable, you can see the problem. The UI has become more complex over the years, and a preset that you use only occasionally, becomes a chore to find. While LNP is far and away my favourite Photoshop plugin, the ever continuing addition of new features and presets leaves you with a 'can't find the wood for the trees situation.
LAZY NEZUMI BYPASS LNP PRO
Guillaume also fixed the mini mode shortcut I asked him about, (five days ago!) so I can now use it with G-Key shortcuts. While discussing my Lazy Nezumi Pro appearing to make Photoshop freeze issue with Guillaume Stordeur - the author of LNP - he asked in passing, how I was getting on with the new toolbar
LAZY NEZUMI BYPASS LNP FULL
You can see the full info page for Quadratic Bezier Curves ruler HERE. So just another amazing add-on to what is far and away my favourite add-on for Photoshop. It works best if you don't move the cursor too quickly, and you try to follow the guide line reasonably well. What happened below is that the cursor started to double back on itself, and generally cut the corner off and make a mess of it. This seems to be worse with tablet than with mouse, but it is lovely being able to do this with full pressure sensitivity, so I guess I'll need to practice some more. I've had an issue with tight curves and brush smoothing where the line takes a wee shortcut at the apex. I broke away to practice this, and it is nice being able to do multiple offsets without have to mess about with curves. I'm going to just think of them as pretty curves, and not worry about the math.Īnother option is a variation of Rounded Rectangles, but with added value. For its Offset mode you can create parallel curves, or whatever the effect on the left is, that Guillaume describes with a bunch of math speak. I only got the heads up half an hour ago, so I have not had much of a play with it, but I'd say it is definitely more user friendly than using the Pen tool and stroking. It has a very cool new preset Guillaume is calling Quadratic Bezier which is an aid to drawing curves. Guys, just to let you know that LNP version 19. You need to make a field active, and then apply the entire shortcut before the field responds and records. He is always helpful, but I don't want to wear out my welcome asking trivial daft questions.īTW You can assign shortcuts to LNP presets. I might not be able to do this with an Action, but I can stack shortcuts in a Logitech G-Hub macro, and that would do what I want. While LNP shortcuts work while the Photoshop window has focus, we can't stack shortcuts in a Photoshop Action.Īctually.

Nor can I find anything in the shortcuts list that would return the UI to 'Details' mode.įYI checking Details under Presets twirls open the UI to full size.
LAZY NEZUMI BYPASS LNP HOW TO
I want to know how to return LNP to full size via a shortcut? I mean OK it is bigger, but not any more useful.

Q) But hitting Ctrl F5 again only returns it to this. I've always used Ctrl F2 to turn LNP off and on, but while tidying up my Gaming Key allocations, I wanted to make better control of LNP.
